Community invited to view HBO film, “Last Best Chance”

The Institute for Security Studies, in support of its mission to expand the body of knowledge relating to homeland security, proudly co-hosts with the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering an evening of film and discussion.
In conjunction with Families of 9/11, the Nuclear Threat Initiative, and National Security Technologies, the HBO film “Last Best Chance” will be shown on the UNLV campus in the Richard C. Tam Alumni Center at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2007.
Following the film, a panel discussion will be held. Representative Shelley Berkley will introduce a panel of experts. Panel participants are: Ms. Carie Lemack (President of Families of 9/11), Ms. Corey Hinderstein (Director of the Nuclear Threat Initiative), Dr. Steve Younger (President of National Security Technologies) and Troy Wade (Chairman of the Nevada Alliance for Defense, Energy and Business).
The event is open and free of charge to students, faculty and members of the Las Vegas community.
